Social Skills

At RealWorldABA, social skills are taught through connection, patience, and individualized support. We meet each individual where they’re at, building on their unique strengths and interests to lay a solid foundation for social growth. Our approach spans from essential skills like turn-taking to preparing for more complex social interactions, such as going on a date.

Using modeling and coaching, we create non-judgmental environments where learners feel safe to explore, make mistakes, and grow. We start with foundational skills and gradually build on them, helping individuals develop the confidence to engage in meaningful interactions. Our methods focus on making social learning a positive, pressure-free experience, ensuring that each learner can comfortably expand their social toolkit for friendships, group interactions, and beyond, all at their own pace.
